Mission Statement

We produce and direct our own documentary and narrative films.

Our Guiding Principles:
  • We seek out compelling stories and characters.
  • We create films that stay with the audience after they’ve left the theater.
  • We seek to create a community of artists whose talents are focused by the process of filmmaking.

Meet Us

Zeb Smith:

With a background in theatre and writing, I’ve always been fascinated with the art of storytelling. Entering the world of filmmaking combined my passion for the story and the physicality of creating that story, piece by piece.  Working on diverse projects as cameraman, editor, boom op, or even coffee wrangler has helped me gain an understanding of the entire process and how my role contributes to that process.  Constantly looking for new challenges, I’m looking forward to what lies ahead and the many stories out there that are still waiting to be told.

Chris Wong:

Whether filming a Vietnamese baker in Seattle or a high school principal in New York City, I find myself captivated by each person’s history, ambition, and personality. It matters not if my subject is a national celebrity or a local unknown; to me, documentary filmmaking is all about finding the extraordinary within the ordinary.

Thus far in my filmmaking career, I have focused upon developing and honing the creative and technical skills necessary to produce feature-length documentaries. I have gained invaluable experience as both an editor and camera operator, working on numerous commercial, industrial, narrative, and documentary projects.

I aspire to be known as a documentary filmmaker who  truthfully, insightfully, and compassionately depicts the human experience.

Chris Wolfe:

I came to film through an extensive background in writing, acting, and directing. Producing films is the perfect synthesis of these different interests.  As co-founder of two improv troupes, I am fascinated by the intersection of improvisation with script. Equal parts sci-fi geek and art house nut, I believe that films should be interesting and entertaining. My focus as writer and director is to make something that lives on screen, and that affects people on all levels – emotionally, mentally, and viscerally.  Lastly, I believe that film can and should change the world in which we live, even if just by helping people escape it for an hour-and-a-half.
